Hangover Sessions 348 Ft. DJ Webbles Presents ~ September 13th 2026
Episode 348's a big one. Three of my favourite albums get the spotlight this time: Billy Strings' So Much For Goodbyes, Jungle's Sunshine, and LEISURE's Welcome to the Mood. Then we shift into the DJ mix I recently spun at Degrees Plato tap house in Oakland, proper trip hop and downtempo, think Nightmares On Wax, RJD2, Thievery Corporation, Bonobo, Portishead and Massive Attack.
We're also bringing back six live tracks from past guests. Andrés Cervantes' ethereal "The Shine Ain't The Same" off The Crossing, Mani Draper's gracious "Helpless", Di Leo's genuinely meaningful "The Mechanic," John Lester on his six string acoustic bass with "So Many Reasons" (met him after he performed a featured set at the Hotel Utah Saloon), Sean Forth's amped up title track "Only For Today" (true gent, is he), and Mae Powell's brand new (at the time), wondrous "Tangerine," track, off Making Room for the Light.
This is the penultimate show for now. Episode 349 lands September 27th with a very, very, very, very special local Bay Area guest to close things out, in style.
Don't miss that one!
